Presentation of SU

The Slovene Union (Slovenska unija - SU) is a minor center-left party founded on 12 Dec 2009 by former high-ranking SD member Vlado Dimovski. It has yet to compete in an election. Ideologically, the party is not significantly distinct from the SD; at least as far as I can tell from its program, which is the same harmless mush of generalities one finds in almost every mainstream party platform nowadays. Informed political commentators seem to be of the opinion that it was launched more or less as a vanity project, or a career vehicle meant to eventually merge with a larger party and thereby propel Dimovski into its leadership.

The party's flag, only seen vertically, is blue with the party's emblem on top and the three circles from the party's emblem on bottom.

Emblem of SU

The party's emblem is defined in the party's Statutes, as follows:

Article 1.
[...]
The party's emblem is the inscription of the name of the party "SLOVENE UNION" written in large bold letters and three non-closed connected circles in green, gold and red. The party uses the abbreviation "SU".

The circles overlap; from bottom to top they are red, green, gold.
